The Amaryllis Mystica is distinguished by its exotic flowers with slender fresh green petals with fine brown-red stripes. This special amaryllis has a mysterious and refined appearance, making it ideal as an elegant houseplant and for use in special flower arrangements. Amaryllis, also called Hippeastrum, are elegant and long-lasting flowers that are easy to grow and care for. Plant the amaryllis bulb in well-drained potting soil mix, leaving the top part of the bulb visible. Use a pot with an opening at the bottom for water drainage. Then place it in a bright place at room temperature. Give the bulb little water until a green bud appears. Once this appears, the bulb needs more water. It takes about six to eight weeks for Amaryllis Mystica to bloom.
