Amaryllis Amadeus Candy is an impressive double-flowered amaryllis with romantic colors. The full, large flowers of this amaryllis are white with pink at the ends of the petals and the heart of the flower is green. The strong stem makes the amaryllis very suitable as a cut flower. Amaryllis, also called Hippeastrum, are elegant and long-lasting flowers and are easy to grow and care for. Plant the amaryllis bulb in well-drained potting soil mix, leaving the top part of the bulb visible. Use a pot with an opening at the bottom for water drainage. Then place it in a bright place at room temperature. Give the bulb little water until a green bud appears. Once this appears, the bulb needs more water. It takes about six to eight weeks for Amaryllis Amadeus Candy to bloom.
